I’m so used to seeing my kid hop into Fortnite and play his friends anywhere

I’m so used to seeing my kid hop into Fortnite and play his friends anywhere, that it’s easy to forget how rare crossplay is between consoles, mobile and PCs. Epic Games just made its Epic Online Services tools available for other game developers, which could lead to a lot more cross-platform games… and a chance for Fortnite friends to carry over to other services.

Epic Games announced the news alongside a preview of Unreal Engine 5 running on PlayStation 5.

Epic’s tools won’t require the Epic vbuck generator Games Store to work, and according to Epic’s post, developers could choose to integrate the features into existing social features. Fortnite works across PC, Mac, iOS, Android, Switch, PlayStation and Xbox, and the Epic Games Services will start on Mac, PC, Switch, Xbox, PlayStation and Linux, with iOS and Android “coming soon.”

Right now, true crossplay is rare. Games like Roblox and Minecraft largely support it across consoles, PCs and mobile devices, but for example, PC gamers can’t play the online-only Fallout 76 with console gamers.

According to Epic, the matchmaking and crossplay functions can work with Apple, Discord, Nintendo, PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, and Epic Games platforms, and Epic Games account log-in options are available separate from the matchmaking tools.

Whether this results in a lot more people finally able to make crossplay games, or ones that hook into fortnite v buck generator Epic’s social community of friends, remains to be seen. More open and crossplatform games on consoles, and ones that hook into mobile, are exactly what I want.

More details on the service are here. Whether the crossplay era will really open up remains to be seen.

Rockstar Games keeping quiet about the inevitable Grand Theft Auto 6

With Rockstar Games keeping quiet about the inevitable Grand Theft Auto 6, fans have been scouring Grand Theft Auto 5 for any possible clues about when the next game in the critically-acclaimed series will launch. The latest theory claims that the Grand Theft Auto 6 release date has been in GTA 5 since the game’s launch back in 2013, and while that seems unlikely, the evidence is still somewhat compelling.

Grand Theft Auto 5 players have once again taken note of some doors at the Los Santos International Airport, thinking the numbers on them reveal the GTA 6 release date. This isn’t the first time this theory has been brought up, but a tweet by GTA 6 News has given it renewed attention. Basically, the gta 5 mobile airport doors have three sets of numbers on them: 2013, 2014, and 2021. 2013 is the year Grand Theft Auto 5 launched, whereas 2014 is the year GTA 5 was ported to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Fans have theorized that this means 2021 will be the year GTA 6 will launch.Continue Scrolling To Keep ReadingClick the button below to start this article in quick view.START NOW

Since video game companies typically don’t plan release dates out so far in advance, the more likely scenario is that this is just a coincidence. However, it is worth pointing out that these are the only numbers on the airport doors. Considering this, perhaps this was done on purpose, with the developers simply guessing that the Grand Theft Auto 6 release date would be in 2021.

As it stands, it’s difficult to say when exactly the Grand Theft Auto 6 release date is. Industry insiders are divided on how far along GTA 6 is in development, with some thinking that the game is still in the very early stages of production, and others believing that it’s well on its way to being finished. So depending on who is right, a GTA 6 release date in 2021 is certainly within the realm of possibility.

If Grand Theft Auto 6 does launch in 2021, it will be interesting to see how much truth there’s been to the many rumors that have been circulating about the game. Rumors and supposed “leaks” have made all kinds of claims about Grand Theft Auto 6, claiming to reveal details about the GTA 6 map and the game’s protagonists.

Until Rockstar Games itself decides to reveal more, fans will continue coming up with their own theories about the GTA 6 release date. Hopefully official information comes sooner rather than later so this nonstop rumor and speculation can be laid to rest.

In every major Fortnite update, Epic Games add brand new cosmetics to the files which include skins, back blings, emotes, pickaxes, and more. The majority of the cosmetics are leaked by data-miners whilst the servers are down for maintenance, however, there are some cosmetics that Epic encrypt which data-miners usually can’t leak.

In the last major Fortnite update, v12.50, Epic added Neon Wings, a back bling that data-miners knew would be free for all players. However, it was originally thought that the Neon Wings could be acquired by participating in the test event last Friday, but once the event finished and players weren’t being rewarded with the back bling, the leaking community weren’t too sure when they’ll be available.RELATED:  All Unreleased Fortnite Leaked Skins, Back Blings, Pickaxes, Glider, Emotes & Wraps From v12.50 as of May 8th

Reason For Zenon’s Fortnite Ban

fortnite is one of the most famous battle royale games. Due to the massive popularity, controversies surround Fortnite from time to time. The latest one is a Brazilian kid being handed a 4-year ban by Epic Games.

A considerable portion of the Fortnite community includes young fans who haven’t entered their teenage yet. Therefore, Epic has implemented rules that prevent kids below the age of 13 from participating in competitive tournaments or game modes that include a prize pool. Moreover, players below Epic’s age limit also need their parent’s consent to partake in certain v buck generator competitive matches that don’t have cash prizes involved. This leads us to the current situation.

Zenon, a 9-year-old Brazilian Fortnite player, has been banned from the battle royale for 1460 days. It means he’s prohibited for a total of 4 years until he turns 13. It’s safe to say that Brazil isn’t a standout region for Fortnite’s competitive scene, but this kid is already has made a name for himself by playing Fortnite. Zenon has more than 130,000 followers on Twitch.

Reason For Zenon’s Fortnite Ban

Zenon received the ban because of playing a few matches in Arena mode, which is a competitive mode but doesn’t include cash prizes. The nine-year-old, accompanied by his viewers and his father next to him, was banned on stream. It led to the kid breaking down in tears. Although it seems that Zenon had his father’s permission to play, once Epic spotted the Terms of Service breach, they took action. Now, Zenon can neither participate in a Fortnite tournament nor play Arena mode until he’s 13.

#FreeZenon Trends On Twitter

After Zenon’s dramatic ban, #FreeZenon became a trend on Twitter. It was started by his followers as well as Fortnite fans who were sad to see the dreams of the aspiring kid crushed. Well over 100,000 people have tweeted with the hashtag, including some notable names in the gaming community.

FaZe Banks pleaded the developers to let the kid go back to playing Fortnite.

FaZe Banks@Banks

Why create a game that’s clearly targeted towards kids if you’re not going to let them play it? This shit breaks my fkn heart actually, let the kid play @EpicGames @FortniteGame …Erin@EriniOSHe’s only 9 and was playing arena which isn’t a tournament and he got banned, c’mon Epic you’re better than this… #FreeZenon 27.2K9:18 PM – May 4, 2020Twitter Ads info and privacy3,371 people are talking about this

Ninja and Zayt also joined in to share their opinions on the matter.

Unless Arenas start offering money for placements there is no reason for #FreeZenon to be banned from them until he turns 13. That being said the age requirement to compete in Fortnite is 13 and he is 9. He shouldn’t be banned from any other aspect of Fortnite 100% @FortniteGame45.4K8:57 PM – May 4, 2020Twitter Ads info and privacy6,682 people are talking about this

I dont know what the rule is, but if you aren’t allowed to play arena at 9 years old there is probably a reason.

now moving past the planned ten weeks of the current season

We’re now moving past the planned ten weeks of the current season and heading into overtime territory, with a fresh list of assignments to tackle including one to collect metal at Hydro 16 or Compact Cars in Fortnite. This task is broken down into three stages of successively larger amounts of metal to harvest, which are:

  • Stage 1 of 3 – Collect metal at Hydro 16 or Compact Cars (250): 10,000 XP
  • Stage 2 of 3 – Collect metal at Hydro 16 or Compact Cars (750): 25,000 XP
  • Stage 3 of 3 – Collect metal at Hydro 16 or Compact Cars (1,500): 55,000 XP

The upshot of this is that you’ll have to collect a total of 2,500 metal across Hydro 16 and/or Compact Cars in order to completely finish this entry in the Fortnite Location Domination challenges, which will earn you the impressive sum of 90,000 XP along the way. Given that you can only carry 999 metal at once in Fortnite, you may need to drop or use some for building along the way if you’re trying to hit the Stage 3 target in a single match, though generating metal with your pickaxe may be enough for it to count as being harvested.

If you want to get through this quickly then we advise that you play in Team Rumble fortnite v bucks generator mode, as materials are harvested at a much greater rate there as opposed to the standard game modes. Also ensure that you’re consistently hitting the weak points while harvesting, to ensure you receive the maximum materials for each object you smash. If you’re ready to start, we’ve got details of the Fortnite Hydro 16 and Compact Cars locations where can collect metal.

Fortnite Deadpool challenges | Fortnite Brutus’ Briefing challenges | Fortnite TNTina’s Trial challenges | Fortnite Meowscles’ Mischief challenges | Fortnite Skye’s Adventure challenges | Fortnite Midas’ Mission challenges | Fortnite steal security plans and deliver them to SHADOW or GHOST | Fortnite destroy GHOST or SHADOW dropboxes | Fortnite deliver fish to SHADOW or GHOST | Fortnite find SHADOW or GHOST Ollie | Fortnite deliver Legendary weapons to SHADOW or GHOST Dropboxes | Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3

Although both of these Fortnite landmarks have featured in previous challenges, you’d be forgiven for not necessarily knowing where they are immediately, which is why we’ve flagged them on the map for easy identification. Fortnite Hydro 16 is the more obvious of the two, forming both the large dam at the west side of the large lake and the power station complex below it. You can harvest metal from the vehicles and street lights along the top of the dam, and there is a large amount of machinery within the power plant which will also yield this material. Unsurprisingly, the Fortnite Compact Cars junkyard features both stacks of vehicles and additional machinery, so there’s lots of metal to be had there. If you’d prefer to use grid coordinates to visit these locations to collect metal at Hydro 16 or Compact Cars, then they are:

  • D7: Hydro 16
  • G4: Compact Cars
